I hope each and every one of you has a fantastic weekend. Your shares and support mean the world to me. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for your love and enthusiasm for these old homes. It’s highly likely that you’ve come across his work before without even realizing it. Earl Christy, the artist behind it, was incredibly popular in his time, and his artwork could be seen everywhere. Moving on to the random postcard, it’s possible that I’ve featured it before, but I can’t help but adore the illustration! F.
I believe the gentleman in the picture is Clifford, and I can’t help but wonder who he was writing to or who was the “other party.” Quite the charmer, I bet! Now, let’s talk about the sweetheart’s photo. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to research the Van Nortwick family written at the top. I’ve included the street view as you can see, it has undergone some significant alterations. The old house image we have today is still standing.
